A grassy, pine bordered jeep 2.5 mile trail visits Little Shoals of the Suwannee River, historically used by Indians and settlers alike to ford the river. The area is quite low with large swamps and standing water on the road after rainstorms. Contact: wpburden@aol.com
"Follow U.S. 41 south from White Springs. After crossing the Suwannee River, go 0.2 mile. Entrance road is across the highway from Gar Pond entrance (on east side of highway). Park near the entrance signs.
